Day 25 - Last Friday, we went to a buffet at a nearby hotel. Since then, we learned about the Sky Garden down in Kuta. The advertisements showed all you can eat and drink for less than $US 8.00 each. We thought we'd give it a try.
Oh my. The food was plentiful and I had four mugs of beer. One can stay a full four hours and eat as much as one wants. The place turns into a monstrous set of lounges and nightclubs as the night goes on. We didn't stay. After my second plate, I could hardly move. It's good that it was a two-kilometer walk back to our apartment. I needed it. One could eat there every weeknight without breaking the bank, but I'm sure the novelty would wear off.
