We wanted to stroll south.
A few pricy hotel/resorts are along this section. A sidewalk ran along a new-looking embankment. Some fishing boats were at the sandy end. We were getting close to the airport. In fact, during the walk, we encountered a few kids with backpacks actually walking into town. I can only assume they are on a rather strict budget.

We walked back along to the mall and peeked at a few things inside. We checked the GPS and saw the 'Lipo Mall' was inland, so we'd skip it today. We instead went in the direction of the 'Hard Rock Cafe'.
It was nice to see the beach-side activities on a warm day. Things were drying out from the recent rains. We had a $US 0.40 McDonald's soft-serve ice cream cones while waiting for our Grab car and driver back. The routes looked clear but one Hindu temple had the easiest route blocked because of festivities. We were probably back to our street in twenty minutes though. The first Grab experience was positive and that's good as we'll use them in Kuala Lumpur later during our winter.
We ate lunch here at the studio apartment.
