There were no surprises except for the fact our doctor will probably be retiring in February! Having a doctor who is one's own age is both good and bad. It's good for the fact the doctor himself understands the process of ageing firsthand; however, it inevitably means having to pass off care to an unfamiliar professional just at the time of life when one may require more of it.
While Jay was seeing the doctor, I thought it'd be a good time to finally have the blood tests done that he had ordered for me in mid-July! I was just checking online to see the results for myself. The basic haematology results are completed with nothing out of range. There are still a few results marked as pending. I guess non-fasting lipid results take a bit longer or maybe the results just got into another batch.
Still, how nice to be able to see one's own results without needing to book another appointment and trip to the doctor's office! So much information which used to require time and effort can now be viewed on a local screen. That's an improvement for so many reasons.

This shift does mean that the local airways get pretty full in an urban condo though. Although I'm posting this via the less crowded 5 GHz band, you can see that the old, trust 2.4 GHz band is getting pretty busy around here. I noticed someone close picked channel 3, so I figured I'd make a move.
