What We're Doing Next Week

Day 45 - We are nearly in the middle of spending three months of our winter in Malaysia. (We will have seven weeks in Cambodia after this as well.) We are currently based in Penang but, of course, want to do a bit of domestic travelling while we're here. Last month, we were able to spend a few days on the island of Langkawi. Yet, we wanted to see a little bit of East Malaysia too.



Doing so will require a bit more flying. In fact, on Monday, our first flight will be a distance of around 1750 kilometers. We have already purchased all three air tickets and our four nights of hotel bookings. We will spend the first two days in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. After that, we have a shorter flight to Kuching, Sarawak. We plan on returning from there next Friday.

We hope to return to Borneo to visit the country of Brunei on a whole different trip in February.
