Something's Fishy

Day 57 - After getting up, I commented on Facebook about the temperature. I said it was 87F and that it was always 87F. In a way, that's not true. During a thunderstorm in the evening, I've seen it as low as 78F. However, when we walked to catch the bus this morning, the temperature had reached its normal 87F.

We walk past the pool at our apartment complex on the way to the main gate. I'm not sure why I don't make use of it.



We decided to run to the Tesco as I needed some running pants to wear around the apartment. I brought along several pairs but the back side ripped out of one. They were old so I don't want to hear any big-ass jokes, please. I got what I was looking for. Jay bought a good pair of shorts too.



Of course, Tesco is a hypermarket so we bought a few groceries we needed. Because Washington State is an enormous producer of apples, we see them selling the world over. However, I'd never seen the round red fruit from WA packed in a box like this until today. I assumed they were put into an incorrect container.

However, I just did an Internet search and found out that it's a brand name. I guess, it's been a rather silly brand name for a long time.
