Rather than run in the Mydin for a few groceries at the adjoining complex, we remembered we'd not gone to the municipal market next to the Sunshine Square mall. We got on a #302 and arrived within a few minutes. We didn't actually buy anything but Jay was impressed with the selection of fish vendors so I know we'll return someday.
We did buy about $20 of groceries in the Sunshine Square Supermarket. It is a large, two-floor place with some unusual items. Between the three hypermarkets within 15 minutes of the apartment by bus, we know we can get more of anything than we'll ever need.
Why is the only purchase I can remember a single can of Anchor Strong beer? I wanted to try a taste before buying a whole six pack or more. The other stuff we bought was just food.
