Day 18 - So far we've spent a whole lot of time in George Town, but we hadn't walked around in the evening. What better night than Saturday? We took the
Rapid Penang bus #301 from our stop at around 5:15. It took a bit longer to get to the Jetty due to the amount of traffic. We boarded the CAT bus for a ride and then walked around as it got dark. After the sun left, the temperature fell to a very comfortable 26C. It was pleasant.
We walked back to the
Kapitan Restaurant as we wanted to try the Milani chicken. I had double-cheese nan bread and Jay chose garlic. Later, as we waited a long time for the #301 to return back to the apartment, a thunderstorm blew through. Strangely, by the time we finally got home at around 10:35, it didn't seem as though any wind or rain had occurred here.
