
We know the British-based TESCO name, perhaps from years in the mid-east. We had noticed two large locations here on Penang Island and we decided to shop in the closer one.
It's funny how each of the big supermarkets has some unique draw. For example, during today's grocery shopping Jay was able to pick up red rice. Some prices seemed cheaper. We even ended up buying red and gold t-shirts with Chinese dragons on them, even though Chinese New Year is not until February. Most of the store contained Malaysian-sourced products, but I notice a few store-branded products which must have been European. I snapped a photo too.

I'm sure this was the brand of peanut butter I grew up on. However, I've not seen it in years. I'm pretty sure it is not available in Vancouver.
