I woke up this morning with a sore throat. I had a bit of a fever too. On our last cruise, Jay felt under the weather for a few days at the trip's start. These ships seem immaculately clean and sanitized. I think when several thousand people converge in a single place, a few are bound to have brought the flu along with them.
I slept a lot today but in a nice type of don't-have-to-be-anywhere-else fog. I cannot suggest being sick is fun, but when one hasn't any obligations, it doesn't feel bad -- feeling bad. We took a tour of the kitchen and thoroughly enjoyed their output.

Tonight was another Gala Night on our vessel. It's nice seeing people in their glad rags. Jay and I like looking for the sparkly ladies. You know, for some older women, dressing up means it is time to glitter. They come in all sizes and from differing backgrounds, but all add something to a formal evening. We get towel animals on our bed every evening.
