I thought about looking through old pictures which might not have made it among the more than 17,750 already in Flickr albums. I remembered uploading an old DVD-full to my Onedrive years ago.
(Is Microsoft in the middle of drastically reducing free space for customers in an attempt to have people go to monthly pricing? If so, I hope I get a whole lot more warning before that content disappears.)
Anyway, I found something I thought might be appropriate for posting on such a day of lousy weather. I don't think this old one has ever been available on a computer screen via the Internet.
The image was captured during our first year in British Columbia in the summer of 1996. We figured out a whole lot of the area by simply driving around those first few months. In this old scanned image, Jay is standing at Horseshoe Bay, where some BC Ferries load passengers and vehicles bound for the islands. Ah so long ago, but it seems like just yesterday!
