I have been thinking seriously about getting another cheap camping tent.
We've not owned one for at least a decade. In fact, the only photograph I could locate with our former tent was from the spring/summer of 2001. We were in a campground somewhere in Ontario. We were on a round-trip, seven-week cross-Canada trip completed fourteen years ago! We drove to Cape Spear, Newfoundland, which is as far east as possible.

In recent years, we've stayed in hotels on our mini-road trips in BC, Washington, or Oregon. Yet, since it is no longer possible to find $50 a night motels, maybe it would be interesting to return to $18 a night, primitive provincial campgrounds.
By the way, I'll include a PDF copy of the 2015 BC campground fees here.
I was checking the British Columbia Parks websites to plan a short 4 or 5 day road trip. It might be fun to dust off the Coleman stove and air out the sleeping bags. Last month, I started thinking about getting to a place in BC we've not visited.
