We knew that two cruise ships were at the Harbour Centre. It is easy to pop out at Vancouver's Waterfront in about 35 minutes, so without major plans, we figured that would be a good start to this holiday.
It was the first pleasure-trip downtown since coming back from Mexico for the winter. Ah, yes. It is great being in our own amazingly beautiful region!
As we walked from the Convention Centre back towards Waterfront we saw that a #50 bus was waiting. Without much hesitation, we decided to go to Granville Island. There was a really good vibe in the market today. We didn't have lunch there, but rather came back to New Westminster for a late lunch at home.
We will always stay in this amazing place from May to October. Life is good here.
