The New West SkyTrain Station

I met some new people to the building down by the pool the other day. As former residents of Vancouver's West End, they now seemed happy to call downtown New West home. Having been in the building since 1998, I became aware that I am now a seasoned veteran of this neighbourhood.

I really do like this part of the city much more than when we moved here. The amenities have improved greatly with, for example, the Landmark Cinemas. The shopping grew around the existing New Westminster SkyTrain Station encasing it. Interestingly, I walked there earlier today. I was searching for an over-the-neck strap for my new camera.

I didn't find one, but I did get a chance to snap a few photos with the Nikon. Being around here until November will feel like a real privilege.
