Today the errands went smoothly too. Even though we use electronic billing notification on all possible accounts, we had a full box of mail to sort. In it were a number of forms for taxes. Thankfully, Canadian tax deadline is the end of April. We know something I'll be doing this week.
I walked down to the New West SkyTrain Station
to buy my truck insurance that had expired.
The truck started but was coated in a lot of dust. We washed it off and I ran to pay for the insurance and tags. I'm set for seven months exactly! Our summers are now officially 7 months long! I didn't forget how to drive, thankfully. We drove to our Superstore in Coquitlam to buy staples. Our refrigerator had been switched off for the five months we were gone. In fact, I turned off everything at the panel. Little did I need to hand-wipe the truck as we had torrential showers this morning. The one clap of thunder was like a smack in the face and a welcome back to British Columbia.
Today has been fun: setting clocks, washing a few suitcases worth of clothes, getting it warm inside. There were many, many more little errands. I really do enjoy this little stuff. Life is made up of the little stuff.
