I'm going to have a hard time giving up fresh shrimp as it's now pretty much daily fare. Today in fact, Jay brought a kilogram of them from a seller who came right to the street in front of the apartment. He sells from coolers in the back of the truck. These were caught this morning. Can't get much fresher than that! It is very convenient to have the food come to the door for 150 pesos/kilogram or about $US 4.50/lb.
Oh we have eaten well this winter, very well. The second picture is a new type of yoghurt we saw for sale. It is very thick and includes pineapple, celery, cactus leaves, and flax seed. Interesting.
