The only time I left the apartment was when I brought the garbage down to the collection spot at the end of the street. It felt warm today and the forecast shows it will probably get hotter later in the week. We stayed around home relaxing. I used the day to finish up the novel mentioned earlier in the week here. I was able to just check out the second of the trilogy with a few clicks. I really could never go back to reading a heavy paperback book. I'd miss the chance to look up a word immediately in an online dictionary or on Wikipedia.
The Oscar pre-show is on the TV as I'm typing. As we're on central time, it comes on earlier than the east coast but not as early as when airing in Vancouver. Our shared, neighbourhood cat is as excited about watching the screen as I am.
