It turns out to be much quicker to take the bypass route when heading from north of town to the Romantic Zone. We also have started frequently taking tunnel buses marked for Pitillal in order to get to Marco Plaza for shopping with its new Walmart and the better of the Soriana Supermarkets.
One thing we'd not done was to bother continuing a few blocks past the shopping to see the center of town. Pitillal Plaza proved a pleasurable walk this morning. I think it might be even more interesting at night. We will have to go back when people are getting home after work or a bit later at dusk.
It was literally about a stone's throw back to the Soriana, so we ened up jumping inside for a few items. You know the necessities, such as tostidos and a cake! We walked across a one-way bridge as it was only a few minutes away. I liked the sign down by the water indicating the presence of crocodiles. It would be cool to catch a look at one! Unfortunately, I didn't see one.
