I walked into the London Drugs just due to the fact it's a busy place on a Saturday afternoons. I saw a home theatre receiver that really seemed like a deal. I took the photo just to check on the model reviews from home. I didn't find anything to buy but spent a large amount of time looking over the increasing selection of LED light bulbs. I got two last year for our main living room. They are expensive but supposedly last over 20 years. I'm not really sure I want to buy a light bulb that has the potential to outlast me, though.
On the return walk back down the hill, I met a house cat on Fourth Street. He was too damned friendly for his own good. I stopped and patted it for a few minutes. With a little coaxing, it most probably would've come all the way home with me. I love having a camera with me always and my phone was also streaming music on the trip too. I feel happy to have lived long enough to see how a personal, universal gadget has sneaked into our pockets pretending to be a telephone.
