Jay-of-All-Trades

We had a suitable chore for this Monday holiday. Well, I should say that Jay did. I've learned just to stay out of his way when he has a paint roller in hand. He is an express painter and the only thing I managed was to spill a half cup of paint on the hallway carpeting.


I don't know exactly when the the hallway was last painted. I know it was most recently a worn, pale rose, but now, after the morning of work, is pale green. Actually, it is called Distant Mountain and was one of the pre-mixed CIL latex acrylics at Walmart. Now, an entire gallon is drying on the wall. I will return the one we didn't need to open. I can exchange it for some white trim paint, and a half dozen new switch and outlet plates.
