One Banana, Two Bananas ...

I think it is well-known and established that I'm now old enough to repeat myself. If not frequently in conversation, then at least it certainly happens in a decade of my eJournal and images.

I think it was only a few weeks ago when I added an entry which included the photo of a local banana tree in someone's yard. On this afternoon's walk, I couldn't resist snapping another photo right on my own block. The trees below are in front of the:

I really appreciate seeing these trees whenever I pass. I've spent enough of my life in the tropics to fully appreciate bananas. It's very nice to be able to see some growing right at the end of the street! One doesn't usually associate such plants with Canada. I'm pretty sure bananas bring me good luck.
