An upgrade allows individuals to create their own customized magazine by collecting articles. I didn't start curating until mid-June. My magazine is now named, Gorge. That celebrates the idea of "pigging out on information" more than as a reference to a walled canyon. I encourage the ambiguity though. Presently, it boasts more than 500 subscribers. I cannot quite say how they found it; I've only mentioned it here and a few times on Facebook and Twitter. I don't even know 500 people, in person!
One main problem is the app can only run on Android or iOS. I may have seen reference the company's working on a Windows version, but I'm sure it will probably be a Metro app under Win8. Just for fun, I set up BlueStacks on my Windows 7 notebook. What a neat attempt of an Android emulation! One can sign right into the Android Marketplace as if one were on a new phone. I wanted to see Gorge on my computer screen. It works, but appears painfully slow. Sometimes there's just a thrill in making something happen, even if it's not entirely practical in nature.
