A Window Seat, Please!

I just spent several minutes on the Delta's website. We believe in planning vacations well ahead of time. Although we've got five whole months before departure, I figured it's never too early to choose good seats. The flights to Puerto Vallarta through Los Angeles were booked through expedia.ca. As soon as I have confirmation though, I like to ensure seating via the airline itself, especially on trips down the west coast.

I prefer the port side going south and the other side when returning home. Don't we use the terms, port and starboard on aircraft? If one sits on the right side of an airplane one cannot see the many impressive mountain peaks.

The seat pickings are a little slim in economy nowadays. I made sure we weren't positioned over a wing though. On clear days the mountains can be beautiful.

On recent trips to PV we've flown through Phoenix. As we're doing LAX on Delta Airlines, I guess we won't have any views of the Grand Canyon this December.
