I always appreciate the view when walking past the Uptown Market on 6th Street. They have an amazing variety of flowers and vegetation for sale. Inside, there is a pretty good selection of groceries too. I don't think I've ever purchased an item there though.
It is a little shocking to realize how few of the businesses within walking distance we've ever patronized. I wonder how so very many of them stay in business. It must take a lot of sales at most small shops to pay for the rent and electricity. I have a lot of respect for all the small entrepreneurs; it's just I don't think I would ever want to be one.
