Today, we took a short little trip. We got on Highway 1 going west and passed downtown Vancouver. As soon as we crossed the Iron Worker's Memorial Bridge, I immediately exited.
We stopped at Cates Park to take a look at boats travelling up Salmon Arm and see all the families out in area parks.
After driving around to find a parking spot, we stopped and walked around Deep Cove.
I was surprised more folks weren't out in their big boats; however, many kayakers were.
Lastly, we drove up Mt. Seymour just to be able to make a few snowballs. This is one of the mountains within 35 minutes of downtown Vancouver.
