Our Own Schedule

More than a decade ago, we stopped relying on a schedule determined by TV broadcasters. Our first DVR functioned in standard definition and allowed programs to be saved and watched at a time most convenient.

I'd say now that the Internet has erased additional constraints and changed our viewing habits to a greater extent. We occasionally still watch programs week by week, but more often watch a complete series in rapid succession. An entire season can be watched over the course of a number of nights or within a few weeks.



We're half through Season 2 of Borgia on Netflix. (It's the European one rather than Showtime's Borgias.) Having to watch television the old-fashioned way would drive me absolutely bonkers nowadays!
