I hate to sound trite or like a complainer, but I sometimes hate my telephone company. If you'd asked me earlier enough this morning, I would have said pretty unkind things about
Telus. I had gone on a vacation hold for my phone and cancelled DSL completely during our recent four and a half months away. Upon getting home, I called last Saturday to inquire why I had no phone service. I was sure I'd ask for reactivation on March 7th, a few days before we were due home. Apparently, they thought my resume date was April 7th. So I asked it be resumed immediately.
Immediately took a while. I had no home phone or Internet service on Sunday or Monday. I spoke to customer service on a daily basis. I called again yesterday. Equipment restricts activation on the day of the call. I kept being told, "Tomorrow." I guess that today finally turned out to be the most accurate tomorrow.
Yay. Finally! Not only can I ignore calls from people, I can do a little more robust uploading because
