We waited in the cool of the hotel lobby until nearly 3:00 pm and called for a taxi to take us to the long distance bus station. It took about an hour to get there and'ws more like a bus city. Luckily the driver took us right in to the company on which we were riding. We waited an hour before we could board. Sellers of various sorts try to convince the crowds to buy fruits, books, sunglasses, watches, corn, cold drinks, medicine, newspapers, and even little girls' dresses. We didn't help this station economy at all.
The bus left promptly at 6:00. The bus isn't a luxury one but it sure has a/c that works. It stopped for a half hour at about 9 pm. I have on shorts and I'm absolutely freezing. Smart passengers brought along thick, heavy parkas and blankets.
