We primarily went to buy fruit and vegetables, but also picked up sundry items too. One unusual purchase was to find out my weight. I have been dreading how much I might weigh after six weeks of eating Sri Lankan cuisine. I doubt I'd be able to stuff all the rice I've eaten into a standard-sized duffle bag. We paid about US 0.07 and with hesitation I stepped on his scale. He maintained I weigh 73 kilograms which works out to be about 161 pounds. As I weighed 168 on the day we left Canada, I know the figure is probably not correct. However, the number, even if not accurate, made me one happy customer. Isn't that what all good businessmen should do?
Here are two clips which are only a few seconds each. They show other customers who may or may not have been happy.
