I am very happy that I've enough time to have my eJournal and images act as a real diary. Only in 2004 did we spent more than one month in Sri Lanka. Our subsequent trips in 2006 and 2009 were less than a month. During those trips (which you can find listed as under the categories along the left on my full-screen version), I was so busy trying to keep up with our island travels, that I had little time to contemplate on the little things. Today, the only thing of consequence was a trip to Bambalapitiya to see a movie at Majestic City. We left Canada before Skyfall was released and it's taken two weeks to find time to see it. I really liked the Majestic Cinemas up on the top floor. I think the upper-floor, Cineplex had three screens but they certainly appeared fresh and new. The blue LED lighting was a bit bright and the seat signage even bright during the film. Another comment on the place might include that I just about froze. Yet, being an over air-conditioned space in Colombo, is a positive point, I guess.
In regards to the movie itself, I see the franchise as safe for another 50 years. If they continue to grow and adapt as well as today's installment, I anticipate James Bond films will surely outlast me.
