It's odd as today is the first time in recent memory where there was no bright sun. It's just that it seems a bit of a shock. This goes to prove how spoilt we can get in a relatively short period of time.
I have also noted how quickly the length of the days now seem to be retreating. As I do not give the midterm for my present course for another week, I know that by the final examination, during the third week of next month, it won't even be bright when driving to Burnaby in the mornings. I suppose that's okay as a short time after that we'll be winging our way towards the tropics.
