There's no sugar-coated goings-on as in North American soap operas, with wealthy people and contrived dialog. The creators seem to go overboard showcasing stereotypical characters. I like the sounds of the birds, and the authentic-looking locations.
Actually, there are dozens of these types of programs in the evenings on various channels. Sometimes events happen at a glacial pace with nothing at all occurring in a particular episode. Still, they can run for years and as this one just started, we were able to jump aboard during the initial shows. It is on Rupavahini and I'm sure it'll still be airing 15 weeks from now, when we're watching live.
