I'd say the primary event of the day was having my students write their final examinations. That officially brings to an end my weekend COMM 0005 class at the downtown campus.
I did make it home in time for a little of my city's Show & Shine antique car show. I like seeing Columbia Street full of people when the cars are all parked. By all appearances, it was a great turn out.
We, in the Lower Mainland of BC, try to cram a whole year-full of outdoor events into ten or fewer weeks of summer. That, of course, insures there's something going on just about every weekend between Victoria and Labour Days. In fact, generally many things are taking place at the same time.
At last, for the remainder of the Saturdays and Sundays, I'll be free to participate in a few of them as my class is finished.
