It began raining and never stopped until after 405, I-90 West, and the top of Snoqualmie Pass.
We met our hosts not far over the pass at their lodge near Lake Kachess. We, then, pulled the boat down to the lake. It was to be a lunch about five miles out on shore. The weather was not raining on this side of the mountains but it did seem a little dark and cold. Still, it was our first time on their boat and a lot of fun.
Later, we followed them through Easton, Cle Elum, Ellensburg, and then along to their desert home hideaway between Ellensburg and Yakima. It was a pleasant evening with meal and then talk and some games.
