So, during today's lunch break, I had to pay for my meal. Actually, the downtown campus is surrounded by places for a quick lunch, but I didn't even venture away from the building. I ducked into a Tim Horton's and had soup and a sandwich.
There were far less healthy choices nearby, but I avoided them. My turkey chipotle sandwich had a slice of tomato and fresh lettuce. Still, I cannot say the food was very satisfying. After about ten minutes, I realized there had been a lot of salt in the meal. Perhaps it was the chicken and rice soup. Do you know the 'tongue burn' one can feel after finishing something which had too much salt?
Tomorrow, I will not forget to bring my normal, less-salty meal to work.
