Another weekend is down. Phew! I have to admit that these weekend things are a bit brutal. The biggest saving grace is the students themselves. Spending 14 hours of a weekend together has a way of bonding that is hard to replicate in other classroom environments.As June 30 and July 1 are part of the Canada Day long weekend, we will not meet. The final two classes take place the weekend that follows. We deserve a little break.
Of course we'll all be really happy for completing so many of our accomplishments. Yet, there will a twinge of sadness of knowing that the community we've built up since the month of May will come to such an abrupt ending.
