Screening Around

I use computers less nowadays. My Toshiba tablet is a much nicer and more natural way to view digital information. Having the screen in one's hands, creates a familiarity that is both reassuring and comforting. It shines as a way to read news and magazines.

The image below is the PDF format of a monthly news magazine from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The PV Mirror seems as if it's published as much for expat residents as for tourists. It provided an especially welcomed few minutes during our day of gray and rain here.



The tablet is a little addicting. I bought it with the intention of keeping it mostly as a device for the coffee table. Yet, I find that I often take it into the bathroom with me too. I go down to the hot tub with it in tow. Recently, I sat with it at the mall. I've even been bringing it to BCIT for the few, short breaks. I now want to have the tablet at every location where I used to be satisfied with my smartphone.
