It's the picture that's three years old, not the pizza itself. Sorry, but in the current, rough-and-tumble blogging world, the title alone has to capture the eye of the potential reader.
The pizza is on this page today as I finally got it online. It was a Napoli pizza baked in a wood-fire oven. We ate them at a small, family restaurant after visiting the city of Pompeii. When we got back from Italy I did a good job at getting the majority of the pictures uploaded to Flickr. Yet, more than 80 remained off-line after the 2008 trip. I simply ran out of steam at one point and the images sat languishing on my media server drive. Now, after three years in limbo, they are happily in the set called Italy 2008.
