Sunshine is Beautiful

Considering that it was vying for nicest day of the year, it is a little surprising we didn't manage any special activities to get out in it. That's the guilt that comes from living here; whenever the weather's not crappy, it seems a tragic waste not maximizing it to the fullest potential. Yet, I was happy just having a little of it on my skin, for a change. Perhaps the daily vitamin D intake can be put on hold for a few months. That'd be nice.

I look forward to having Pier Park as an option on a nice day. I anticipate just walking across Columbia and Front Streets and sitting somewhere along here.



As it is, I have to walk up to the city hall to enjoy a park bench with a nice view. There are several benches along Columbia Street next to Church Street. They are about a one-minute walk from the door of my building, but that area can be a little noisy with all the traffic. Ah yes, next spring it'll take me just a few additional minutes to park myself right along this stretch of future park right on the Fraser River.
