Some things take longer than expected.
I know this first hand because I did some banking this morning. I am so unfamiliar with the inside of a bank that actually visiting was a bit of an unusual experience. The teller at my credit union was unfamiliar with the request I made and couldn't get the computer to accept the task. Eventually, it got done. Then, I had to wait at the branch of another institution until a draft could be drawn there. Eventually, I made it to HSBC. I am a new account holder at our uptown branch with some shiny, new, converted funds in cheap US dollars.
I am also a little late in other areas. I noted that I made a 2006 New Year's resolution to explore the country of Costa Rica. Well, next month at this time, we'll finally be there. It took longer for this particular trip than expected. We'll try visiting other countries while in Central America too. Today, it dawned on me; I'll probably have a chance to see one of these type of frogs.
