We hopped on the SkyTrain and exited at the Waterfront in Vancouver. It was a dark day, but for most of it no rain fell. We wanted to take Lynne and Joel to the new Convention Center and Olympic Torch. Following that, we walked up to Davie Street and had lunch at Stephano's.
On the way back to New Westminster we stopped at the Metrotown Mall. Joel bought a replacement screen protector for his phone. How fun to finally have somebody to discuss Android apps with! Lynne went into the Superstore to stock up on Indian spices. It's now her habit to buy these items when here as they're not available at their local, rural supermarkets. The mall was packed with people. Canada's economy is doing pretty well but I hope the crowds were spending and not simply hanging out.
After getting back, we were not hungry until quite late due to the copious midday quantities of Greek food we'd had. Jay made a soup and late in the evening we watched a documentary on Netflix Canada.
