My present company is Cirrus Tech out of Toronto. I've been with them for quite a few years and have renewed on at least one occasion. When I started out, the hard disk quota of 200 megabytes was standard fare. Of course in the world of online storage that doesn't seem like much nowadays. Cirrus now starts out basic accounts with 3 gigabytes of disc space. See the information in the box for their Unix/Linux personal package.I'm now running into my 200 megabyte barrier. This occurs due to years of blog postings and associated pictures. In fact, during the auto-cleanup which occurs in the middle of the night, my account has been flagged as over its limit and suspended on several occasions. There's no more which I feel comfortable deleting.
Now, I am trying to keep my current account and have technical support up my limit. Marketing provided me with a roundabout way to do this. I'd have to start a new account and then switch my data over to it. As well as the hassle, I'd miss out on six months of service I've already paid for.
I don't want to lose access anymore and have sent off a message. I hope they will provide me with a reasonable solution today!
