Once is a while, it takes a little re-tweaking to get everything sounding optimal. After all, the channels have to be correctly set for when I'm kicked back in my favourite recliner. Even in highly-compressed .wav files, I find sounds in old 70's and 80's music which I never heard at the time of release. This might be because I most probably listened on an AM car radio, or something of similar ilk.

I don't spend a lot of time listening to music. Often times, the apartment is fairly quiet when I'm at the computer. I have to remember to make use of AOL Radio more often. There's a lot of stuff which can be streamed directly to my speakers too. For example, in anticipation of the autumn's return to Sri Lanka for a month, I need to catch up on what music is hot. Too bad, I really don't understand Sinhala.
