Okay, if one has nothing to say, I guess one can always talk about the weather. This time I don't want to simply say what a wonderful sunny but cold day it is. I am going to resist going into great detail about how most of our weather comes in off the Pacific Ocean. I don't want to again explain how Canadians don't all live in igloos.Today, I will just mention that it's impossible to forecast weather here. Unlike, the job of a weatherman in some parts of the world, here it's a tremendous gamble trying to guess what will blow into the area in coming days. A seven-day forecast? Pffff. It's not even possible to go forward for three days with any sort of accuracy. All weekend we were led to believe it was going to be continuous rain until Wednesday. As it has ended up, both yesterday and today have been quite lovely.
Inaccurate weather prognostication doesn't really make me angry. I prefer to get angry at myself for following the weather reports with such earnestness. I should simply look out the window and enjoy whatever is there in terms of weather.
