The Internet is truly amazing. It's much more than any science fiction writer of fifty years ago could've come up with. It isn't a monolithic computer controlling humanity but rather millions of them dispersed around the globe offering up information on most every topic. We take it so for granted. We hover close to the same dozen or so old sites. The hidden power is still there, lurking. It waits until we think of a use. It's a library which never closes. It's a shopping mall available at all times. It's the democratization of information more powerful than the printing press. One has chances to investigate, interact, and participate in nearly any idea one can imagine.
Life is very different although we don't perceive it so.
