As it's less than two weeks until Christmas, I now feel comfortable mentioning it here. Just like every other pundit with web space, I abhor seeing the holidays creep ever slowly into the autumn. I don't want to be goaded into being
festive in October. We're very non-traditional when it comes to buying presents. That is as long as non-traditional means we don't. Even when the economy is bubbling along, we don't. We buy stuff when we need it throughout the year. That means buying especially at the holidays would be for foolish and unwanted things. Anyway, that's our tradition.
