Day 83 - We came to Nugegoda again. Jay wanted to visit an elderly aunt and uncle. When visiting he also had the chance to see some cousins he'd not seen since the 1970s.
Just before we hailed rideshare for the one-hour and fifteen-minute trip via the expressway, the coconut buyer came to the Minuwangoda house. He had been promising to come since last Friday but pulled in around 8:30 this morning. He took exactly 100 good coconuts.
We will only stay here tonight and tomorrow night. We can take the time tomorrow to take very inexpensive cholesterol tests. Private medical services are top-notched and so cheap compared to North American standards. We will visit the Colombo Fort (downtown). Jay and I didn't really visit the older, commercial section of Colombo on this trip yet. Although there is a lot of nature in Sri Lanka to love, I still find its city life interesting.
Today though, I got additional training from his elder sister's cat. Prithi spent the entire day sleeping. He's a bit old and undoubtedly lazy. I put the cat's skills to my own use during my 1.5-hour, afternoon nap. Prithi is my furry tutor.
