Things were a bit back to normal today. Jay went to renew his gym membership at the Bonsor Recreation Complex in Metrotown. This time he was able to make use of the discount for seniors.
So, during that time, I drove up to Queen's Park to top up Kimchi's battery. I seldom fill all the way to 100% mainly because I use only public chargers. I walked around and enjoyed the fall day. Still, it was taking forever at the park's chargers. At 98%, I decided that I was tired of all the exercise and fresh air. I drove and decided to complete the last few kilometers worth of power at the New West City Hall. Those chargers are not dependent on excess power from the street-lighting system and tend to be a bit quicker.
It still took another 15 mintues, because a battery takes the longest to charge the final end. I regularly read a Facebook group of Canadian KONA Electric users and have witnessed that many are in the 500km-club. I didn't quite make it this time, perhaps because the weather is getting cooler.
