Day 19 - The original plans were to check out of our hotel today. It was a much nicer day getting up late, eating from the hotel's buffet breakfast, and walking to central Sofia, Bulgaria. Everything seems about a kilometer away from our hotel. So today, we walked and spent some time near the National Theatre on park benches. Jay video-called his sisters and shared a walk around the area.
It was a very pleasant 26C today, warm in the sun with a cool breeze.

We did ride on a tram soon thereafter. That seems to be a favourite way to spend a little time. I had my renewed transit card until we returned back to the center of the city. I checked my pocket and must've dropped it. I remember having a sudden sneeze and fishing for a handkerchief. It must've fallen out. So as we were near one of the municipal transit offices, I replaced it with a new card for around CA $10. I have three days of unlimited use here for less than the price for a day at home.
And once again, living history surrounded us.

We did our fair amount of tram riding and people, dog, and activity watching from park benches today.
