This morning we chose to walk to the other end of downtown and vote in the federal elections. This is a long weekend in Canada as Easter Monday is a designated statutory holiday. I guess it was very busy on Friday as it was first day of early voting. People probably wanted to get their vote in before the long weekend was in swing.
Today, it was not so busy we saw only a few dozen deople headed to the Anvil Centre or inside. It took just a few minutes to complete the process. After, we walked back through Westminster Pier Park and walked to see a few trees in blossom in our neighbourhood.
