Day 019: We're not market-going newbies. We've been in dozens and dozens on our global travels. From Bangkok to Jerusalem and from Mexico to Hong Kong, we've witnessed markets that amaze and impress.
Jay and I were still unprepared for the sheer size of the area and numbers of sellers and buyers today.
We went via a Bajaj and returned in the same manner. Kariakoo is about 10 of 15 minutes away from our hotel depending on the traffic. It felt hot today. We did get some sugar cane paying about US $0.40 for a big glass of the cool, freshly squeezed liquid.
We have to start packing as we have two flights tomorrow. We first have to fly north to Nairobi, Kenya in order to catch a flight to Antananarivo, Madagascar. We will have to get up early.
